The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ are seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team based at Horsley Park. You will play a crucial role in managing the environmental compliance and rehabilitation transition of the Horsley Park and Riverstone landfill sites. This role will require a strong understanding of the application of environmental compliance, health and safety and contractor management processes.

What you'll be responsible for
Oversee and manage activities across the following areas: Landfill rehabilitation and aftercare, Planning and design, Infrastructure development, Environmental compliance, Managing and controlling nuisances, Equipment maintenance, Administration and weighbridge functions
Undertake risk assessment and hazard identification to support operational initiatives
Implement visible leadership processes to assess and promote health, safety and environmental compliance at the landfills
Ensure the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors to the landfill sites
Ensure environmental compliance at the landfill sites is maintained and at the forefront of all decisions
What you'll need to be successful
Experience in landfill management, including design, constructions and operations experience
Demonstrated understanding of relevant environmental legislation and familiarisation with EPA NSW requirements
Demonstrated experience in applying Quality, Environmental and OH&S Management systems
Proven leadership skills – with experience managing operational staff management and site rehabilitation
Drivers Licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle
