Job Network and Safety Officer - Traffic & Road Safety | Parramatta | Government, Parramatta

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct road and traffic safety investigations and audits
• Undertake technical assessments and develop practical safety and network management solutions
• Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. councils, public agencies)
• Mentor and support team members in investigations and assessments
• Ensure all work aligns with current transport policies, guidelines, and technical standards

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Traffic Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in road safety assessments, technical audits, and network investigations
• Strong knowledge of traffic/transport policies and regulations
• Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality advice under time pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
